The hand tooled leather bound books, journals and photoalbums have been a big hit with our clients, they are fair traded by a young couple from Calgary and each one is unique.

The paper is handmade from recycled cotton. Phasha employs several families on the outskirts of Delhi and is active in their community.

The handtooled leather is stamped with mostly traditional designs, however, there are some contemporary motifs as well.

Norman, our manager at the downtown location, is able to gold stamp initials or names onto the jacket of the book with a wonderful old Kingsley Hot-Foil Stamping Machine from the mid fifties that Nixie found on the internet. There is a $5 charge for personalizing one of these beautiful journals, the perfect gift!
